The Korea Tourism Organization liked this drama's Jeju so much it published an official 'Real Jeju' course — here's the visitable version.
1Geumneung Beach & Port (the drama's Pureung Village)
The main stand-in for the fictional Pureung fishing village of the haenyeo and fishermen — shallow turquoise water facing Biyangdo Island, including the episode-15 photo-shoot scene.
Address
Geumneung-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju
Getting there
Bus 202 from Jeju City Bus Terminal along the west coast (about 1 hour).
💡 Grab a window seat at any beachfront café for the drama's aquamarine frame.
Two coasts, two days
Our Blues lives on Jeju’s west coast (Geumneung, Sinchang, the Gapado ferry from Moseulpo) with two eastern outliers (Seongsan, Woljeongri). Bus 202 chains the entire west side; bus 201 covers the east. If you’re also doing the When Life Gives You Tangerines loop, the eastern spots overlap almost perfectly — one combined east day, one Blues-only west day.
The haenyeo thread
The drama’s heart is the haenyeo diving community, and you can meet the real thing: the Seongsan cove demonstration and Gimnyeong’s village diving program both run regularly. Jeju’s haenyeo culture is UNESCO-listed intangible heritage — the show is a faithful portrait, not an invention.
