- Petite France sits beside an Italian Village (the Pinocchio one). Entry to Petite France alone is ₩12,000; the combined ticket covering both is ₩19,500. Since the two sit together, most visitors end up wanting both — buying the single ticket first and upgrading is the expensive way round.
- Korean visitors are blunt about which half is better
- A recurring note in 2026 reports: the Italian Village has more to see and more to do, and Petite France itself is lighter on attractions than people expect. If you only have time or budget for one, that is worth knowing before you choose.
- Budget an hour and a half to two hours
- The standard loop runs from the ticket gate through the open-air amphitheatre, the music-box house and the Saint-Exupéry memorial, up the traditional-house street to the Butterfly Park viewpoint over Cheongpyeong Lake, then back down the Bonjour forest path.
- It is built on a hillside
- Slopes and stairs throughout. Visitors specifically flag this as hard work in summer heat, and it is the main accessibility constraint.
- The performances are the draw, not the buildings
- The music-box demonstration, the marionette performance and the Pinocchio puppet show come up far more often in satisfied reports than the architecture does. Check the daily performance times when you buy your ticket rather than discovering them as you leave.
- There is a pass that covers it
- The Gyeonggi Tour Pass, an unlimited multi-attraction pass starting around ₩26,900 for 24 hours, includes this site. If you are chaining Gapyeong attractions in a day it can undercut buying separately.

Visiting tips
Petite France is small — 1.5 to 2 hours covers it — which is why nearly everyone visits it bundled with Nami Island on the Gapyeong loop. The Saint-Exupéry / Little Prince theme runs throughout (the founder licensed it officially), giving the park its signature photo spots.
The adjacent Italian Village (Pinocchio & Da Vinci) opened later on the same hillside and shares a combo ticket; dramas shoot there too, and most visitors don’t realize they’re two parks.
